To try to summarize a four month, 23,00 mile trip in one page is a real challenge, but I'll try -- first, it is all the interesting people I met along the the way.  And from there it becomes a series of "snap shots" --
  •   A week, traveling alone with my granddaughter
  •   the majesty of the first really large glacier I saw
  •   Denali -- the size, its unspoiled ruggedness, and its animals
  •   the "Pipe Line" -- you can't help be impressed with the feat of it
  •   "My Moose" -- up close and personal
  •   the first Grayling I caught
  •   the Dempster Highway to Inuvik -- I'd like to travel it in the winter
  •   Tuktoyaktuk on the Arctic Ocean -- Morine's story should be preserved
  •   Valdez and the salmon fishing -- I want to return
  •   Cordova, the unspoiled isolation of it
  •   Haines -- the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve and Chilkat River area
  •   the Skeena River area, Kitiimat, and the Nachako -- on going concern
  •   grizz on the river
  •   Bella Coola, I'll go back there
  •   9/11
  •   Steelhead and the Bulkley River -- frosting on the cake!
